Greetings Dear Ones ...

 

The idea of 'positivism' was first brought out in 1856 by Auguste Comte, but in modern days, the theory of positivity was developed further in the 1950's.  Comte's 'positivism' has been promoted today by many great activists, such as Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, and Doreen Virtue, just to name a few. 

 

When you speak a positive affirmation, you are giving your subconscious miind an instruction that it will follow, even if you are merely saying the words of the affirmation.  Positivism is a natural process for humans because we think in terms of good vs. bad.  If something is perceived as 'good' we  unconsciously smile, if something is perceived as 'bad' we unconscously frown.  A good example here is the use of our sense of smell.  When we smell something delicious, we smile and feel drawn to the scent, such as the scent of a flower, or bread baking in an oven.  When we smell something icky, we frown and feel repulsed. 

 

Positive affirmations work in a similar manner. They are positive statements spoken aloud which are accepted by the Higher Mind subliminally and which propel us forward in a positive light.  This is the power of positivism -- our subconscious mind is drawn to the instruction; it is a natural attraction.   

 

This being said, today's Positive Affirmation is a great classic, penned by Dr. Emile Coue ... please use it freely, repeated in sets of threes, to improve your sense of well being, and your outlook for your future
