I don't agree that Paypal is a necessary on Ether at all. Firstly there are other options as some have mentioned eg: moneybookers etc...  But I don't see what is to be gained by paying a percentage to Paypal for the use of their service when Ether provides payment options of their own.. this is my opinion and I hope that there are more options and definately paypal is not compulsory - I personally also do not like paypal for the reason that they will do chargebacks easy enough and this would be a definate concern when charging for phone services that can and may be charged back .. how to deal with that I do not know

    thx

I suppose it doesn't have to be paypal, but just the ability to get the cash to a digital online form is much quicker than supplying bank account or receiving via check. Having the option of PayPal is good because it is a well established company and so and so forth. Unlike many other online payment ecommerce sites , paypal is accepted by MANY stores. This would allow people a better option because if you use other sites and got the money on them they usually just supply bank / check withdrawls so there would be no point.

In the end I believe that PayPal is a great option, not for adding money to Ether accounts, but atleast for withdrawls.

We could have more than one payment option.  Paypal is just one of the most practical, because it's popular.
Personally, I would like there to be a way to take payments without having them go through a sign-up process, then enter their money information, and all that.  It would make more sense to take payments from members and non-members.
