I need help to understand how to start charging cust after cust got free info... is it the cust the one will press * on her phone or I the one will press * on my phone?

You are the one, as you are providing the service you will be the one saying when you want to charge the customer for the information you are providing. You can remove that feature I believe by unchecking the free to start check box when you create your listing. The customer will then be charged from the start of the call.
