PayPal would certainly make this service much better for the client and operator. Ether can charge a fee for it and everyones happy

I like the Paypal idea too.  Has this been brought up in suggestions?

Yes, PayPal is a must. I use it in all my other business transactions and it's great for international business when dealing in US$.

That would be nice. Because Paypal has a pay by phone option now.

I also vote for a Pay Pal option.
Also, I want to suggest a Storm Pay option.  They work just like Pay Pal, but are more flexable-- www.stormpay.com

With paypal as an option clients will still be required to pre pay..... plus as a bonus for the staff here you would not have to mail out as many monthly checks, infact you make abit of cash ! This is a great website and I wish everyone here the best of luck!

    Re: PayPal? Uh... Yeah!!!

Ya, I'm new to Ether so I haven't dealt with payout yet but in my other business experience online, getting paid via PayPal (into my bank account) has been great- like direct deposit, so much easier than having to deal with a check... though I didn't mind dealing with big AdSense checks when I used to get those ;-)

    Thanks for Ether!

    Re: PayPal? Uh... Yeah!!!

I don't agree that Paypal is a necessary on Ether at all. Firstly there are other options as some have mentioned eg: moneybookers etc...  But I don't see what is to be gained by paying a percentage to Paypal for the use of their service when Ether provides payment options of their own.. this is my opinion and I hope that there are more options and definately paypal is not compulsory - I personally also do not like paypal for the reason that they will do chargebacks easy enough and this would be a definate concern when charging for phone services that can and may be charged back .. how to deal with that I do not know

    thx

    Re: PayPal? Uh... Yeah!!!

I suppose it doesn't have to be paypal, but just the ability to get the cash to a digital online form is much quicker than supplying bank account or receiving via check. Having the option of PayPal is good because it is a well established company and so and so forth. Unlike many other online payment ecommerce sites , paypal is accepted by MANY stores. This would allow people a better option because if you use other sites and got the money on them they usually just supply bank / check withdrawls so there would be no point.

In the end I believe that PayPal is a great option, not for adding money to Ether accounts, but atleast for withdrawls.

    Re: PayPal? Uh... Yeah!!!

We could have more than one payment option.  Paypal is just one of the most practical, because it's popular.
Personally, I would like there to be a way to take payments without having them go through a sign-up process, then enter their money information, and all that.  It would make more sense to take payments from members and non-members.
