Hi everyone! I joined ether a couple of days ago and made a listing. However I don't have any high traffic sites or any way to advertise my listing. I looked around for an ether directory to post in but I couldn't find any. I looked on these forums and I saw that many people wanted a directory but the ether team is too busy to make a directory right now. So I went ahead and made a directory for ether. Hopefully, if enough people post their listings, it will be popular enough to actually get you guys calls!

Why don't you try Igenio or Keen?  They have long established directories set up.  *curious*

Hm..I wasn't aware of those. Thanks. But I don't understand, can I use my ether number for those directories or do I have to sign up for their pay per call services. Oh btw, I can't find the Igenio website =\.

They have their own benefits and directory is one of them but I personally don't want to see a directory in the way it's set up over at Keen or Ingenio (same company I believe).  I don't want my potential customers clicking to Ether and I'm either on another call or they go and find another reader.

If Ether can set up an "intelligent" directory that works for sellers than I'm all for it.

Let me start by saying Thank You for building the etherdirectory!

The site design/layout works well with ether.com and looks great. It is very simple and user-friendly.

A suggestion for improving the etherdirectory.com site:
I peeked at the source code and saw that there is currently NO meta-data in the document head.

There are no meta-tags, site description, keywords, etc.

Adding this information to all pages generated by the site will help Search Engine robots to find, to crawl, and to list the site.

That would help all of us!

Most content management systems have plug-ins to help generate descriptive, key-word rich meta-data. But you can also enter it into the head of your index page manually...
