    Do I have to give credit card info?

    I'm brand new here and started setting up my account. But then at the end it said to give credit card info, even though I won't be charged. I'm just wondering, do I have to enter that info in order to have a seller account?

    This is really strange for verification purposes? Surely there are other ways to verify one's id
