Due to the success of the old Ether Expert Directory on Ning I have decided to try and keep it going elsewhere  - in case you do not yet know - Ning no longer offers free Nings. We had a great site out there for our experts but Ning wants about five bucks a month to keep it going. Unless someone kindly wants to contribute to keeping this site alive for us - it will be taken down shortly - time has run out.
I cannot pay for it all on my own so am busy starting up again.

Hey Ether sellers - I decided to set up a new Ether Expert Network for 2009.

Sign up and get your services and call button listed at:

You are invited and encouraged to join as a way to bring yourself calls. If you are content to have little to no calls, no worries, if you would like to start talking calls and getting your services out there - do join in.

The site is where you can blog and advertise your services. Place your call button and links in your personal profile and take advantage of all the masses of huge drive-by traffic that this social network platform now has to offer us.

I will not be losing the subdomain just yet as using ones own domain name is not a free service anymore. It costs around 5.00 a month that I cannot justify paying on my own yet.
Will look at setting up etherexperts.com as an aside next week if there is enough support to warrant a domain.

Any questions or need any help getting set up please do take a look at my profile page and how I used the Ether call button to advertise myself. I have used this method for the last year with other sites and found excellent results and many new clients.

PLEASE support this effort and whip up a page - this way when a new person joins there will already be some experts on board.

I have read alot over the past year on these boards about no exposure - but it comes down to us to do all that we can to help ourselves. Just  how it is.

Please show your support and at least take a look.  Why do it like we have on here you may ask.. because the network I have used has some great features not available on this site, for example you can leverage from other networks such as facebook etc.. blogging is so easy, join the groups I have formed to get yourself into a category.  Most important -  they have People joining up all over the place.

I am sorry that 59 people ... and counting... have viewed this post and no-one has decided to join me and list their services in the directory.
Oh, well I'll continue to advertise the directory and maybe someone will join in and take more calls with me.

Great to see that someone has taken the plunge and decided to join the group - I'm sure they will get more calls as I do now also; and exposure.

You must do your own marketing of your Ether to get calls. :)

I'm new to Ether.  Just wondering how you are promoting your directory?  I see currently you have 4 members.  I plan on joining your directory within the next day are so.  I am also a member of Ethers partner site Keen.com  I have been with keen for 9 years.  I use the same member name on Ether as I do on Keen.  Hope to hear from you soon.......

Thanks for your contribution.  http://etherexperts.ning.com/  is not 'my' forum; it is all of ours :)
Therefore one needs to advertise for themselves.  Ning is like chinese whispers in that people link from here to there.  I am happy to share my ideas however. I have a profile on facebook that links to the Ning Ether Experts forum. I twitter the same way and other such things.

Very good idea to use the same advisor name, that's a great way to get recognised and promote your great service.

Nice to see that for Froum is growing. I myself have received more calls this year through my own efforts and Ether than any other year; so somethings working :)
