Please carefully read the Ether Terms of Use to see all Ether policies before creating your listing. Below we've provided a basic overview of our policies related to listing creation and management on Ether.

Adult Content
Adult-oriented content or listings with the purpose of providing adult-oriented transactions are strictly prohibited on Ether.

Copyright Infringement
Sellers shall not use the site or its services to transmit, route, provide connections to or store any material that infringes the copyrighted works or violates or promotes the violation of the intellectual property rights of any third party.

If you believe that your work has been copied on Ether in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please refer to Ether's Copyright and Trademark Policy.

Credit Card Required
A valid credit card is required to complete an Ether listing. Your credit card will not be charged – this is for verification purposes only. Your information will be kept secure and confidential.

Your credit card information is secured by a VeriSign SSL (secure socket layer) Certificate. SSL is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

Listing Syndication
By submitting to Ether Directory, you grant Ether, its distribution partners, affiliates and similar third party website/media providers of Ether's choice the right to use, copy, distribute, display or reference in any media form Your listing information, including without limitation, Your listing name, tags, descriptions, photos, Ether buttons, phone numbers and extensions.

Personal Contact Information
Ether recommends that you do not disclose personal contact information (name, phone number, mailing address, etc.) to members you meet through Ether. If you choose to reveal this information, you do so at your own risk. Additionally, Ether does not recommend or encourage members to use Ether to solicit other members to meet with them in person. To protect the privacy of our members, Ether does not permit personal contact information, such as email address, phone number, mailing address or Instant Messenger ID, on their listings.

Personal Websites
Sellers are permitted to post links or URLs on Ether listings to their personal website or other 3rd party services if those sites provide customers with additional information that would help a customer decide whether or not to purchase services from that listing. Do not list links/URLs in the Listing Title, Areas of Specialty or Summary.

Sellers are not permitted to post links/URLs on Ether to websites that solicit payment outside of Ether for a competitive service. Ether considers the following competitive service: phone calls, chat, recorded content and digital content exchanged through email.

Sellers may not provide members obtained through Ether Directories with alternative payment methods (such as PayPal, personal checks, money orders, etc.) for the above-mentioned services. If you are unsure whether or not you are permitted to post a link on your listing to your personal website and still be accepted into Ether Directory, please request a review by filling out a Support Form and selecting "Listing/Directory Acceptance" from the drop down menu. Please be sure to include your member name and the URL of the website in question so it may be reviewed.

Reviews and Comments
Ether does not permit Sellers to take any actions that may undermine the integrity of the Reviews system. This includes leaving positive Reviews for accounts that you own using secondary usernames or third parties and giveaways in return for ratings.

If you would like to dispute a review or written comment left on your listing, your proper avenue of complaint is to fill out a Support Form and select "Reviews / Ratings / Comments" from the drop down menu. You should not email the member to complain. Also, Sellers may not post customer's member names or information on their listings without their consent as such activity constitutes harassment, which is a violation of the Member Agreement.
